After struggling with symptoms of endometriosis from the age of 14 and being palmed off by multiple doctors with tablets, hormones and a “get on with it” attitude finding Mr Lim was a godsend. He is incredibly thorough, knowledgeable and takes the time to listen to his patients. I’ve now been a patient of Mr Lim’s for three years and I cannot express how grateful I am to have been under his care and to finally be given a diagnosis after 7 years of horrendous symptoms.

Profile
Mr C P Lim is a consultant gynaecologist at the East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. He was one of a handful of gynaecologists in the country who accomplished the Advanced Laparoscopy Training certified by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) and he leads the specialist endometriosis service at Lister Hospital. He has published widely in the field of minimal access surgery and remains an active member of the training subcommittee for the British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy. He regularly trains general gynaecologists at surgical courses nationally as faculty member.
In addition to general gynaecology, Mr Lim subspecialises in Endometriosis and Benign Gynaecology. He believes that just because women have the condition, it doesn’t mean they have to suffer with it. This also means he is an expert in hormone medication use including contraceptives and HRT. He offers a tailored approach to the treatment of his patients depending on their circumstances.
